What creature exists in a whirlwind of grief and joy, worry and relief, desperate need and humbled gratitude? Each of us lives as a testament to the enormity of that which sets us apart from all other life.
It is that which is beyond momentary fits of fight or flight, hunger and satisfaction. We stand alone in the Universe. Our uniqueness is not in the composition of the body, but that which dwells within.

Happy Easter - He's Alive
The Sirens were three seductresses living on an island that was surrounded by cliffs and rocks. Seamen who sailed too near were tricked by the Sirens' enchanting music and voices to come near for a better life. The poor fellows found a gruesome death (not a better life) after shipwrecking on the rocky coast.
Barack Obama’s repackaged song of social justice through wealth redistribution is nothing but a version of Karl Marx’s dream, trimmed and garnished for the ears of worried Americans. Joe Biden, already mesmerized by the idealism of his left-wing Party, is convinced that such comparisons must be a joke.
Unfortunately Joe, there is no joke. The facts are facts, and you and those like you are willing to sail this great nation onto the rocks. You are ignorant of the promise that America has always held for those looking in, that it is possible to dream, take risks, and succeed.
No one likes to see gluttonous barons of mega corporations on television, living large on exorbitant salaries and bonuses as the rest of us are left to live at the edge of our meager paychecks. But what Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, and Harry Reid fail to tell us is that these examples of Golden Parachute encrusted emperors are not representative of what will be changed by a move to Socialism.
The truth is, most of us work for people who have absolutely nothing in common with those we love to despise. More than 98.2 percent of all employers are small businesses who employ more than half of all of us.
According to the Small Business Administration, up to 80 percent of all new job opportunities are created by small businesses, a fact that young college-age voters (who will be looking for new job opportunities) should find especially noteworthy.
There is a simple, but tried and true formula for how this works in America. Regular people dream up ideas. Then they roll up their sleeves to work hard, put their own financial security at risk, and if they can stay ahead of the many roadblocks put in their way, their reward will be a successful small business that by its very nature creates jobs for others.
This is capitalism in a nutshell, and on balance it works. Communist/Socialist examples have proven time and time again that when the risk-reward element is removed, there is no reason for people to stick their necks out. Those who do rise up are those who seek their reward from the power of position, rather than from an investment of heart and soul in a dream.
To be left working for power hungry managers, rather than success driven entrepreneurs, seems to me to be a leap in the wrong direction. In fact, many of those we love to despise work for the love of prestige and power, having long ago earned sufficient millions to satisfy their carnal needs.
Such a mixture is clearly evident in the dysfunction of the Russian economy, a conglomeration of the old socialist systems intermixed with capitalism. That is exactly what will result if we follow the Sirens’ Song of Barack Obama and his plan for more government and forced wealth redistribution.
Jesus was tempted by Satan following a rough time of 40 days without food in the wilderness. The deceiver told him... "If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread." Jesus said to him... "It is written: 'Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.' "
Barack Obama and the Democrats are dangling such a temptation before the eyes of Americans who are hungry for assurances in a time of worry. It is a Sirens’ song that is soothing and filled with promises for a better life.
As the Siren’s song proved fatal to the sailors who were seduced to follow; only wreckage and disaster awaits us on the rocks of Obama’s vision for America. People are not clamoring to become citizens of Russia, so why in God’s Name would we want to re-invent America to resemble such a place.
Jesus said... "Away from me, Satan! For it is written: 'Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.’"
I would suggest that Americans should take a similar stance. Hard times come and go. Let us keep our faith, keep our eyes on the fact that hard work and the promise of opportunity that exists in this country will see us through as it always has. Jesus knew that despite his immediate needs, to follow Satan’s temptation would have been short-sighted and utterly disastrous.
Turn away from the seduction of the Sirens’ Song that Obama sings, for it will lead to a disastrous future for our children and our children’s children. Obama’s seduction will put this unique great nation on the rocks and history will lament the day that it happened.

Come on people... you won't believe what is being said about Barack Obama, and his drive to change America into a Socialistic Society. Listen to him say it with his own lips on the radio in 2001. This is not an attitude that he used to have. This is what he believed then, and it is what he believes right now.
This is radical leftist idealism in its purest form. TO VOTE FOR BARACK OBAMA IS THE SAME AS VOTING FOR FIDEL CASTRO OR HUGO CHAVEZ.
You may think we need CHANGE in America, but let me assure you... this is change that goes way beyond. I hope you understand what has made this country unique in the world, and in fact in all of history.
If you don't understand what I am saying to you, then take the time to figure it out before you vote for Barack Obama. America is at the brink of disaster, and it is our responsibility to see that she does not topple right over the edge.
You may find talk about Redistribution of Wealth to be attractive, but one day it will be your wealth that gets redistributed. Not some rich fat cat. You will soon be viewed as having too much. Believe it or not.
So... do you think that Barack Obama's change is a good thing? What about change that resembles Adolph Hitler's SS?
The SS grew from a small paramilitary unit to an elite force that served as the Führer's "Praetorian Guard," the Nazi Party's "Shield Squadron" and a force with as much political influence as the regular German armed forces. Built upon the Nazi racial ideology, the SS, under Heinrich Himmler's command, was primarily responsible for the crimes against humanity perpetrated by the Nazis during the Second World War. In a speech by Barack Obama given July 2nd in Colorado Springs, he uttered these words...
"We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded."
...in other words, a Special Security force that is under his direct control, unfettered by constraints placed on our military forces regarding action against citizens.
He also spoke of civilian service, which includes this...
We'll send more college graduates to teach and mentor our young people.
...which smells to high heaven of the Hitler Youth, and the re-education activities of the Nazis.
Did you know that Barack Obama supporters in Missouri, particularly Chief's of Police, Sheriffs, and Prosecutors, have banded together in a group called... "The Truth Squad", who's purpose is to "go after" anyone running advertising that is deemed to be "untruthful."
Obama campaign cracks down on misleading TV ads

The Barack Obama campaign is asking Missouri law enforcement to target anyone who lies or runs a misleading TV ad during the presidential campaign. (Watch Newscast.)
Now, perhaps there is nothing wrong with pointing out untruthful, misleading information. But in this case, there is an implicit threat from law enforcement and the courts, that if you make political claims about Barack Obama, you will be arrested and prosecuted.
Does that sound like America to you?
I think that Barack Obama's Special Security Force, and his Missouri Truth Squad, composed of law enforcement and criminal prosecutors sounds a bit too much like Saudi Arabia's morality police. I think that these "thoughts" that are running through the head of Barack Obama forewarn of a very real danger to freedom loving citizens of the United States of America.
Have you never wondered to yourself, how the people of Germany could have allowed the Nazi scourge to become so powerful, or how the people of Germany could seemingly condone the horrific actions of their leader, Adolph Hitler and his minions? Have you ever wondered how the people of the Soviet Union could allow themselves to become virtual prisoners of their own country? What led up to the requiring of papers to travel from one city to the next?
I am afraid, fellow citizens, that this is exactly how such things happen. Let us learn from history, reject the false promises of socialism, and not allow such ego maniacs to become President of the United States.
I hope that sounds like good advice, because it is.
