There's not much more to be said...
WASHINGTON — House Democrats on Friday sent the Bush administration the clearest message to date on Iraq by passing a resolution that opposes the president's plan to send an additional 21,500 troops to the war-torn country.“Today, in a loud voice, the Congress of the United States said to the president: 'We need a new direction in Iraq,'” said House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, D-Md., after the 246-182 vote.
...other than, looks like you're getting your wish, Mr. Al-Zawahiri. The United States Congress is on board and working hard to fulfill your dreams. Some of you wonder why I seem so 'bitter' in my political writing. Perpetual nausea will to that to a guy after awhile.
I have this frightful image in my head of a room filled with cockroaches, swarming aimlessly in all directions. That is what comes to mind when I think of the House of Representatives and the Senate, in their pathetic stampede to demonstrate our propensity to 'Cut and Run' over, and over again.
