A picture is indeed worth a thousand words. Venezuela's Dictator Hugo Chavez, (aka) Mister Potato Head, continues to display utter disregard for democracy, civil/human rights, and basic freedom for his own people. Just a short hop and skip through the pages of history should be enough for most intelligent people. But we see little to no condemnation of this man from our own liberal establishment.
Next time you hear one of our own defending this regime, or even joining with him in condemnation of the United States for whatever reason, then you will have a perfect picture in your head to go along with the definition of Moron.
This is a photograph of a device with sharp claws, connected to a chain. It is used by Chavez's thugs to put down those who would protest against his regime. In Venezuela, true democracy may cost you a pound or two of your own flesh.
I saw those pictures the other day. Pretty sad. I haven't heard anything from the left. If Obama wants to help the world, why isn't he speaking up about this. Why is the left so quiet?
